Nova Iguacu- Day 5
Today (Thursday) was a travel day. We started the day with an info session on our host communities and what we were going to be doing for the next week and a half. A fellow Spanish teacher from Kentucky and I left from Brasilia and flew to Rio de Janiero were met our host teacher, Eduardo. Eduardo is a great host and very knowledgable and personable. He is an English teacher in the area. He gave us a great introduction to the area and made our first day both fun and comfortable. We got settled into out hotel and then got ready for our first day of school which was on Friday.
